Bmw Z4 Gen 2. Roadster e85 the z4 roadster was launched in 2002 with the 2 5i and 3 0i six cylinder models. Bmw has a long history of making roadsters all the way back to its roots.
A hardtop roof convertible was standard on all fifth generation bmw z4s 2009 2016. For the sixth generation 2018 present however the bmw z4 is offered only with a soft top fabric roof. The bmw z4 e89 is the second generation of the bmw z4 range of two door roadsters and was produced from 2009 to 2016.

In 2018 the new generation of the z4 was launched. The second generation z4 was announced on 13 december 2008 and debuted at the 2009 north american international auto show in detroit the following month.
